    About Agent Aliens

    Agent Aliens is an arcade-style run and gun platformer featuring cute aliens, difficult levels and progression. Each level in the story mode is hand-crafted to tailor to be difficult but definitely achieve-able. The game has a unique roster of original aliens, each with different abilities, strengths and playstyles. If that's not enough, players will be able to control more than one alien as they conga line forward to the player's controls, automatically shooting along the way.

    Jump and shoot your way to freedom as you search for your fellow Aliens and break free from captivity.
    It will take teamwork and dexterous fingers to survive this close encounter with humankind.

    AGENT ALIENS is a new arcade style run and gun game.
    Returning fire, aiming, and cooldowns are taken care of by our squad of feisty Aliens.
    Players will be focusing on dodging and weaving through enemy fire.

    What makes my game unique?

    The game features a unique roster of aliens, each with different abilities and attacks catered towards a platforming game. Other than that, the aliens have been balanced together as they are compared to each other in terms of strengths and along with other aliens as one of the main game mechanics is being able to control more than one alien in a conga line of aliens. The game has been created with mobile in mind but with classic game difficulty. The game requires much skill when scaling through the hand-crafted levels of the story mode. However, the game has been balanced to appeal to everyone as the Endless Mode was created with less difficulty on platforming in mind. Following the above, we further pushed the game to being mobile-accessible by removing the firing button. This allowed more screen real-estate as we removed the need for the fire button and making the controls more streamlined. As one of our beliefs is that the more the players understand what's happening on the screen and the more screen they see, the more enjoyable the game is. This also allowed us to create much more difficult levels.

    Why could my game win an award?

    Indigo Gaming is very new to the indie scene and Agent Aliens is our first foray into mobile indie games. The development phase of the game was very enjoyable for all of us on this end as we have explored many ways to create the game that we imagined on the mobile platform. We've created the game on Unity with no more than hand-crafted assets and hard work. We tried our best on optimizing the game as much as possible, to the point that we could explore more image distortion and such as one of the game's effects.
