Tahu Bulat is an Indonesian mobile game that inspired from a real food truck business in Indonesia that sells round tofu. Your mission will be to attract customers as much as possible and expand your Round Tofu Business; by taking risks and gamble on the items you would like to invest on.

What makes your game unique?
Our game is the first game from Indonesia with Indonesian local content that become extremely popular in Indonesian market and also monetize well. This game has also inspired many fellow game developers in Indonesia to develop and publish game with Local content and target the local audience.
Why do you think you will win the Grand Prix this year?
I believe that building a game is different than building a game studio. We’ve been fighting for more than 5 years to learn and find the best way to survive in this industry. We’ve tried several genres, several game engines, several target markets, and much other stuffs to find where we belong. After several lost, last November, we realized that we should try to find another angle and focus on Indonesia as our target market. Since then we did some research and found several stuff that might get us successful in game industry: the untapped low-end smartphone game market. That’s why we’ve been developing our own game engine (which currently is more suitable to be called a library) to make sure we can provide a small size apk with good performance in low end device since December last year; which we believe is one of the key factor that made our game easily adopted by mass audience in a short time (3Million download in the first month). I hope that our journey would inspire other inspiring game developers to find their own strength and get the right market to be more successful as a game studio.
